Celebrating Puerto Rico’s Top 50 Startups in Impact.

For more than 5 years, HolonIQ has recognized and celebrated impact leaders around the world advancing transformative technologies and new models in Climate Technology, Education and Health.

In the lead up to Puerto Rico Impact Week, we’re opening nominations to recognize the Top 50 startups based in Puerto Rico working across one of the areas of Climate Technology, Education, Digital Health and Health Technology.

Eligibility

To be eligible for inclusion in the Puerto Rico Impacty 50, companies must be based in Puerto Rico, or have a significant focus on the Puerto Rico market.

Selection Process

Nominations open January, 2024

• The nomination period will close on April 19, 2024.

• Judging and evaluation will be conducted by a global panel of experts will be completed through the month of April, 2024

• The Puerto Rico Impact 50 awards ceremony will take place May 16, 2024 in San Juan, during Puerto Rico Impact Week.

Selection Criteria

HolonIQ and select market experts from Puerto Rico and around the world will assess each organization based on HolonIQ’s startup scoring rubric, which in brief covers the following dimensions:

Market. The quality and relative attractiveness of the specific market in which the company competes.

Product. The quality, uniqueness and impact of the product itself.

Team. The expertise and diversity of the leadership team.

Capital. The financial health of the company and its ability to generate or secure sufficient funding.

Momentum. Positive changes in the size, velocity and impact of the company over time.
